Mateo Dunagan is a writer, community advocate, and public servant whose life has been shaped by perseverance, faith, and an unwavering commitment to making a difference. From overcoming epilepsy and a speech delay at a young age to becoming deeply involved in education, civic leadership, and public service, his journey reflects the belief that every challenge can become a source of purpose.

In Silent No More, Mateo shares the experiences that transformed him, not to offer all the answers, but to encourage others to discover their own voice. His story is one of personal growth, courage, and conviction, reminding readers that meaningful change often begins with a single person willing to stand, speak, and serve with integrity. Commemorating the three year anniversary of the election of first woman Vice President, as she said: “While I may be the first woman in this office, I will not be the last.” Kamala Harris leaves the door open to many little girls with dreams and boys as well. A true inspiration to all of us, and someone to truly look up to.
